First Matter is an Oklahoma web design studio for service businesses — auto repair, fleet maintenance, contractors, HVAC. We start with whatever you have, a rough idea, a site that no longer fits, or nothing at all, and build it into something that gets found on Google and turns searches into booked jobs.
The name
Prima materia:
the first substance.
In alchemy, prima materia is the original material from which transformation begins. It is unfinished, full of possibility, and waiting for direction.
That is how most worthwhile projects arrive: a rough thought, a personal instinct, an operational problem, a sketch, a reference, or a need without a clear form.
First Matter exists to work from that beginning. The starting point may be a rough sketch, a site that no longer fits, or nothing at all. The job is always the same: discover what the idea wants to become, then build it completely.
Who it is for
Trades, shops, and the
people who run them.
The businesses we build for have something in common: the work is real, the customer is local, and the phone ringing is the whole point. An auto shop, a mobile diesel outfit, a contractor, an HVAC company — the job of the site is the same in each case. Get found by someone nearby with a problem, answer what they would otherwise have to call and ask, and make calling easy.
Clients do not need to arrive with a perfect brief. They need a useful starting point and a willingness to refine it.
