This information helps deliver the site, maintain reliability, and prevent misuse.
03
How we use information
We use information to:
- review inquiries, prepare quotes, and respond to you;
- plan, produce, deliver, and support requested services;
- process payments, subscriptions, refunds, and receipts;
- communicate about your inquiry, purchase, account, or active project;
- operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website and our business;

- comply with applicable law, maintain business records, and enforce our agreements.
04
How we share information
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as needed in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Vercel hosts the website and private project-file storage. Stripe processes hosted checkout, payments, subscriptions, and payment-related fraud prevention. Other vendors may support communications, professional services, or business operations.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect rights, safety, and property; or investigate fraud or security issues.
- Business changes. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
- With your direction. We may share information when you ask us to or give us permission.
Provider details: read the Vercel Privacy Notice and the Stripe Privacy Center.
05
Project files
Files submitted through the 3D modeling and printing inquiry form are validated and stored in private storage associated with the inquiry. Access is limited to people and providers who need the files to review, quote, deliver, secure, or support the requested work.
Please do not upload confidential, regulated, export-controlled, or third-party material unless you are authorized to share it and have confirmed that our inquiry process is appropriate for it. Contact us first if a project requires a separate secure transfer method or confidentiality agreement.
06
How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, delivering services, maintaining project and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Removal from backups and provider systems may take additional time.
07
Cookies & similar technology
First Matter does not use this website to serve behavioral ads. Our hosting, security, and payment providers may use cookies or similar technology needed to operate their services, protect against fraud, remember preferences, and understand service performance. Stripe's hosted checkout is governed by Stripe's own privacy notice and cookie practices.
Most browsers let you control or remove cookies. Blocking some technology may affect checkout or other site functions.
08
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including private storage for inquiry records and uploaded files, validation of submitted files, and hosted payment processing so full payment-card data does not pass through this website.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe information you shared with us may be at risk, contact us promptly.
09
Your choices & privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain uses. You may also withdraw consent for future communications. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
To make a request, email brandon@wearefirstmatter.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
10
